The manager expressed, "Indeed, Ter Stegen is a crucial player. He will be starting in the opening match. A team thrives on consistency and a core figure, which can then be complemented by younger talents. I have known Mark for a considerable span of time. Neuer has been the finest goalkeeper on the planet for a lengthy duration. Despite this, it is widely acknowledged that Ter Stegen is also of world-class caliber. However, he sustained an unfortunate injury. Currently, he is in excellent health, matching his form prior to the injury. He brings a wealth of experience to the table. His impressive tenure at Ajax speaks volumes. Ultimately, it all hinges on his performance."
