On Friday, PSA issued a statement on its corporate website, revealing that 6451 items were stolen from a truck, encompassing a variety of sports cards and Pokémon cards, as well as sealed vintage baseball card sets. The company provided a comprehensive list of the stolen items, which included now-suspended grading certification numbers. All the stolen items were cards that PSA had recently graded and were being returned to their respective owners.

The Professional Sports Association has not yet released the latest valuation of the stolen items. However, the rating body had previously informed law enforcement that among the 250 stolen packages, the contents of 200 of them were estimated to be worth approximately 963,000 US dollars.

The affected customers have been contacted by PSA, who are providing compensation for the stolen items. The company has refunded all fees associated with the rating of the stolen goods. Furthermore, additional payouts will be calculated based on the "fair market value" of the items, as assessed by PSA using comparable sales and other data sources. This compensation is capped at the highest insured value declared.
