10月27日，体育新闻报道，知名记者Spears在《NBA Today》节目中对彼得森进行了深入探讨。

"According to Spears, the Rookie of the Year accolade is a goal for Peterson, who is eager to secure the title. However, a conversation with Coach Hardy revealed a different perspective. The coach emphasizes the importance of building a strong foundation and is reluctant to impose undue pressure on the young talent. While winning the Rookie of the Year is significant, Hardy's primary objective is to mold Peterson into a legendary player over the next 5 to 10 years."
